Things we did:
. We ate good food at RCP restaurant
. We had BBQ and drinks around the campfire for a couple of nights
. We visited the nearby heritage mining town and explored the place a little
. I explored the area to scout for things to do and met some friendly or shy people
Things I want to do next time:
. Use the their motorbike services
. Explore their trails
. Swim in the pool (if it ever opens again)
. Play Cricket on the oval or enclosure
. Bring my bike or skateboard for the nice roads and nearby skatepark
. Play Billiards/Pool in the restaurant
A lovely spot in the bush and very peaceful! Pretty much had the place to ourselves.. a little disappointed with the camp kitchen! Could be far better equipped, especially with the price you pay ($50 per night)! We have stayed in far cheaper places with better facilities!
Unfortunately the bar/bistro was also closed..

I spent a few weeks here with my partner on a prospecting trip and absolutely loved it. Nicest and friendliest people run and own it. Either camp ground, caravan space or cabins. We used a cabin due to the weather and found it clean and well serviced. The cost was discounted for us due to off season and duration of our stay. A quality restaurant serving food that has a reputation of being very good in the locale.
I will definitely return here and recommend to anyone thinking of visiting,

Had a lovely time at the caravan park. Unfortunately it rained the whole weekend, so couldn’t make use of the fire pit or the barbie, but the cabin had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the toilets were sufficient. Make sure you take your own towel, though! Stone’s throw away from Walhalla, 40 minutes to the peak of Baw Baw, 30 to Trafalgar… plenty to do around! Don’t forget to check out their campsite pub for a meal. Best cob loaf I’ve ever had!
This is a very nice place and area in Rawson. The only criticism I have is that the bed in the main room, is a bit uncomfy and hurt my back. Other than that, it's great! There's a mini mart 2 minutes away by car and 11min walk. Very good.
Usually a great place. Happened to put us between 2 caravans with generators running all night with, and couldn’t of cared less when asked.
